On February 18, 2025, the Scientific Symposium on Emergency Management and Addressing Crises and Natural Disasters commenced in the capital of Tunisia. This major international event brings together specialists in civil defense, crisis management, and emergency response from various countries around the world.

The symposium is organized by the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences and the National Civil Defense Directorate of the Tunisian Ministry of Interior. Participants include representatives from ministries of interior, civil defense agencies, specialized organizations, and expert communities from different countries.

The symposium will address pressing issues in crisis management and disaster response. Key topics include:
