Recently, the Belt and Road 1000-Person Training Program in Emergency Management - Seminar on Emergency Rescue for Bangladesh was held in Beijing. Lasting for 14 days, the seminar had a total of 30 delegates respectively from the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, the Disaster Management Administration, the Fire and Civil Protection Bureau, and the Security Service Bureau of the Ministry of Home Affairs of Bangladesh.

Since they are eager to learn knowledge about the emergency management system, capacity building, and disaster management, participants of the seminar were invited to visit National Disaster Reduction Center and National Earthquake Emergency Rescue Training Base of the Ministry of Emergency Management. 

During their visit to the National Disaster Reduction Center, participants shared a special topic on "China's Disaster Management Model - Emergency Change in the Digital Age". And then the group visited the satellite operation and management area, satellite remote sensing area and aviation remote sensing area of the Center. The group had fruitful exchanges with relevant experts of the Center on issues concerned.

At the National Earthquake Emergency Rescue Training Base, the group participated in the simulated scenario of the person trapped in the disaster site, exercised the smell ability of the search and rescue dogs, and helped the dogs find, identify and rescue the person trapped in the ruins.
