Guinea Bauxite Development and Management Workshop was held in Nanchang, Jiangxi, southeast China on May 8, 2024. As the Mine Safety Capacity Upgrade Project under the Belt and Road Initiative, the workshop would last for 14 days. 24 government officials from departments and divisions in charge of bauxite development and management of the Ministry of Mining and Geology of Guinea participated in the workshop.

Guinea bauxite development and management trainees in a visit
Focused on development and management of bauxite and mine safety capability upgrade, the workshop has promoted China's advanced mine safety management methods to Guinea government and introduced the Belt and Road Project.
Lansana Donzo, Deputy Director-general of the Mineral Quality and Quantity Evaluation of the Ministry of Mining and Geology of Guinea, expressed his wish to participate in the Mine Safety Capacity Upgrade Project under the Belt and Road Initiative next year, learning experience of mine safety supervision and management from China and improving mine safety capacity of Guinea. After returning to his country, he would publicize the project widely so that more people could know about it and participate in it.
