Spain's state weather agency (Aemet) has activated warnings this Wednesday for coastal phenomena, strong winds or snowfall in 16 regions and the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla.
The Andalucia region has issued a strong wind warning, with gusts reaching a maximum speed of 90 kilometers per hour. Costal areas will be under a yellow warning for coastal phenomena, with waves of up to five to seven metres.
Due to heavy snowfall, 22 roads in Spain have been restricted or interrupted, and multiple ferry services located in ports along the southern coast of the country have been forced to be interrupted or delayed due to strong winds and waves.
