6.0-magnitude quake hits Northern Sumatra, Indonesia

HONG KONG, May 11 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 jolted Northern Sumatra, Indonesia at 0857 GMT on Sunday, the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences said. 

The epicenter, with a depth of 89.4 km, was initially determined to be at 3.73 degrees north latitude and 97.03 degrees east longitude.
