Three people were killed when a police car was hit by a train at Sitakunda in Chattogram. A few others were injured at this time. They have been hospitalized.

The accident took place at Fakirhat Fakirpara railway crossing in Salimpur Union of the upazila around 12:30 pm on Sunday (August 27).

Two policemen and one Ansar member were among the dead.

Chattogram railway police’s Faujdarhat outpost SI Faruk said that the train collided with the car carrying the policemen. Two policemen and one Ansar member were killed. A few others were injured. They have been admitted to Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH).
