Thematic Exhibition on Emergency and Mining Equipment successfully held in Kazakhstan’s Almaty

The Thematic Exhibition on Emergency and Mining Equipment was successfully held in Almaty, Kazakhstan from July 10 to 12, 2025. The event was co-hosted by International Exchange and Cooperation Center (IECC) of the Ministry of Emergency Management (MEM) of China, Trade Development Bureau (TDB) of the Ministry of Commerce of China, and Center for Emergency Situations and Disaster Risk Reduction established between the Government of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyz. Mi Jianying, Deputy Director General of IECC, led a delegation to attend the activity. Han Chunlin, China’s Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Liu Dianxun, Director General of TDB, and Jiang Wei, Consul General of China’s Consulate General in Almaty visited the thematic exhibition. 
The Center for Emergency Situations and Disaster Risk Reduction organized departments and heads concerned to visit the exhibition, including Kazakhstan’s Fire Committee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Almaty’s Emergency Bureau, Almaty’s government agencies, as well as heads of professional institutions of earthquake, flood control, fire, aviation and rescue, and heads of material and technical support institutions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. They participated in seminars and supporting activities of supply-demand matchmaking meetings and on-site visits all the way. 
 This thematic exhibition is an important part of the 20th China Commodities Fair in Kazakhstan. IECC organized 11 enterprises specialized on safety and emergency management to participate in the event, which are respectively China Harzone Industry Corp., Ltd., CCTEG Chinese Institute of Coal Science, Hytera Communications Corporation Limited, Fujian Qiaolong Emergency Equipment Co., Ltd., Hunan Weiping Technology Development Co., Ltd., Hunan Dahua Heavy Industry Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Shengxun Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., U.Protec (Shenzhen) Tech Co., Ltd., Saifeite Engineering Technology Group Co., Ltd., Fosun Beiling (Beijing) Medical Technology Co., Ltd., and Taizhou Sanjiang Fire Control Equipment Co., Ltd.. 
 Chinese enterprises demonstrated their advanced and applicable technology and equipment in the exhibition, and the Russian version of the Catalogue for the Promotion of Advanced and Applicable Technology and Equipment for Emergency Management (Phase I) was released simultaneously. With some Chinese enterprises signing contracts at the exhibition, the first show of enterprises specialized on safety and emergency management overseas had achieved good results. Before departure, IECC invited China Mark Certification Group to present compliance certification procedures for Chinese products exporting to the Eurasian Economic Union countries (EAC certification). 
 During the seminar session, representatives of CCTEG Chinese Institute of Coal Science and Hytera Communications Corporation respectively made presentations on intelligent prevention and control of mining risks and specialized communication solutions for professionals from Central Asian countries. In accordance with the needs of Central Asian countries, some other Chinese representatives introduced basic data, applicable scenarios and service experience of emergency transportation and engineering equipment, hydraulic supply and drainage emergency rescue equipment, personal protection equipment, strong sound warning equipment, industrial safety intelligent equipment, high-end medical rescue equipment, and fire piping products.  
 Representatives of Central Asian countries spoke highly of the exhibition and activities, taking a practical and useful platform to expand cooperation among all countries concerned. They detailed their country's emergency management system and urgent needs for related technical equipment, expressed their focus on technical solutions in areas such as unmanned firefighting, high-rise firefighting, earthquake monitoring, mining safety precautions, mountain rescue, and informatization of risk monitoring and warning. They expressed their willingness to send working groups to China for study tour and looked forward to China's support. 
 All representatives visited institutions such as Almaty’s Emergency Situations Department, fire rescue, earthquake monitoring, and mountain flood control. On-site inspections helped them know more about Kazakhstan’s emergency command, disaster risk monitoring & early warning, and fire rescue equipment, during which further exchanges were carried out among representatives.
