He emphasized that work safety is not only closely related to people's well-being, but also the cornerstone for the stable development of a country’s economy and society. To carry forward the Belt and Road initiative, strengthening international cooperation on work safety is of great significance for the Belt and Road countries in dealing with various kinds of safety-related risks and ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.

China has been continuously exploring best practice of safe production and accumulated rich experience. During the seminar, China’s achievements in work safety laws and regulations, construction of emergency rescue system, and application of safety technology will share with all participants. China is also ready to learn and draw on the advanced concepts and practices from all participants to jointly improve the capacity of work safety governance.

A participant from Georgia said that it’s a great honor for him to be a member of the seminar. Georgia has been actively exploring good practice in work safety, yet with quite some challenges. He hoped to learn the valuable experience from China and further promote the development of work safety in Georgia.
