
Zhang Xiaoning emphasized that in the context of frequently-occurred natural disasters worldwide, it’s really an urgent issue for all countries to strengthen emergency medical cooperation and build a global community of health. To deal with the increasing challenges across the world, we should enhance cooperation and jointly establish a resilient, inclusive and comprehensive emergency medical and health system to effectively fight against any potential crises.
Jamshid Mirrakhimov, Director, Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan, Dana Begailina, Director, Practical Skills Center of Marat Ospanov West Kazakhstan Medical University of Kazakhstan, and Bayrammyrat Akmammedov, Associate Leader, Military Medical Team of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan, delivered speeches respectively on behalf of participants. They spoke highly of the achievements and contributions China made in the field of international cooperation on emergency medicine. They will take this opportunity to learn from China’s experience, strengthen international cooperation and exchanges, and continuously improve the emergency medical system in their own countries.
During the seven-day activities, IECC will invite experts and scholars from the Emergency General Hospital, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Beijing Normal University to offer special lectures with interesting discussions and exchanges. Participants will also take field visits to Beijing and Qingdao respectively.
This seminar is not only an important practice in international cooperation in the field of emergency medicine, but also a platform for Belt and Road countries to exchange experiences and share wisdom, which will play a positive role in enhancing the standard of regional emergency medical management.
